Location: The city of Yehud-Monoson is located in the central metropolitan area of the country, near the National Airport of Israel, and extends on both sides of road 461 – the main lateral road of the Southern Block of Dan.

Neighboring authorities: Savion-Gani Yehuda local council (to the north), South Sharon regional councils (to the north-east), Modi’in region (to the south-east) and Or Yehuda (to the south-west), NTBG 2000 (to the south).

Population: about 31,000 people, about 8,500 households.

Socio-economic rank: Cluster 8 (out of 10).

Yehud-Monoson is a city in the east of the Ono Valley, located in the central metropolitan area of the country, near Israel and extends over a jurisdictional area of 5,200 dunams.

The city received its name as part of the unification of local authorities of the city of Yehud and the local council adjacent to it, Neve Ephraim (Neva Monoson) in 2003. As part of the union agreement, it was determined that Neve Monoson will continue to maintain its autonomy and community uniqueness through its local administration in the statutory status of an urban district committee.

The unification of Yehud-Monoson is a national model for successful unification of authorities.

According to the data of the Central Bureau of Statistics as of the end of July 2023, 31,570 residents live in Yehud-Monoson (73rd place in the ranking of local authorities in Israel).

לפתח תקווה ודרום הארץ).
– ברמה הארצית (כביש 1, כביש 4, כביש 6).
– ברמה הבינלאומית (נתב”ג)

עיר בתהליך התחדשות והתרחבות – העיר נמצאת בתהליכי התרחבות והתחדשות משמעותיים. בינוי חדש, התחדשות פנים עירונית, הרחבת שטח מוניציפאלי, התחדשות אזורי תעסוקה ומעבר לתעשייה מתקדמת.
